McKinney, TX --- In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the McKinney Regional Cancer Center (MRCC) is pleased to announce that Dr. Gail Lebovic will be speaking to the Dialogue Cancer Support Group at MRCC at 6pm on Tuesday, October 16th.
Dr. Lebovic is the Director of Women’s Services for the new Cooper Clinic at Craig Ranch in McKinney. After doing two fellowships, one in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast and another at the National Cancer Institute, Dr. Lebovic focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, reconstructive surgeries, and management of congenital breast deformities. In addition, she has invented several medical devices and co-founded a number of companies in the area of women’s health.
“We are really excited to have Dr. Lebovic speak to our support group because she is one of the only oncology breast surgeons in our area,” stated Tina Withrow, Director of Community and Patient Relations.
The DialogueSupport Group meets the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm at McKinney Regional Cancer Center, located at 4601 Medical Center Drive, McKinney, TX 75069. McKinney Regional Cancer Center is owned and operated by Texas Hematology/Oncology P.A., a private medical group with a 25-year legacy of serving adult cancer and blood disease patients.
